'Actinomorphic' describes a type of symmetry, primarily in botany, where a flower can be divided into two equal halves by any plane passing through the center. Imagine a daisy or a sunflower; you can slice it any way through the middle, and it'll be roughly symmetrical. It's also called radial symmetry. It differs from zygomorphic flowers, which have only one plane of symmetry. 'Actinomorphic' is all about many possible lines of symmetry.
