The 'Black Guillemot' is a seabird belonging to the auk family, specifically the genus *Cepphus*. Unlike some other guillemots, it sports a striking black plumage during breeding season, contrasted by bright red legs and white wing patches. Think of it as the goth member of the seabird family. They are excellent divers, foraging for fish and invertebrates in coastal waters. Black Guillemots often nest in small crevices or under rocks along shorelines.
