A blucher is a style of shoe or boot where the quarters (the parts that wrap around the ankle) are sewn on top of the vamp (the front part of the shoe). This construction allows for a wider opening, making them easier to put on and take off. Unlike Oxfords, where the quarters are sewn under the vamp, bluchers offer a more relaxed fit. Think of it as the difference between a T-shirt (blucher) and a button-down shirt (Oxford) in terms of ease and comfort. They're favored for their practicality and durability. They come in many designs.
