Boustrophedon is a writing style where alternate lines are written in opposite directions (right-to-left, then left-to-right, etc.), with reversed or mirrored letters as needed. The name comes from the Greek word for "as the ox turns" when plowing a field. 🐂 Imagine an ox plowing back and forth across a field – that's how boustrophedon writing works! This method was used in ancient times to make reading easier, as the eye could simply follow the text without having to jump back to the beginning of the next line. It’s a unique and efficient way to write.
