Definition
A 'bullfight,' or corrida, is a traditional spectacle, primarily in Spain and Latin America, in which a matador confronts a bull in a ring. It's a highly ritualized performance involving several stages, including displays of courage and skill. Some view it as an art form, deeply rooted in cultural tradition. Others consider it a cruel and inhumane practice. The matador ultimately attempts to kill the bull with a sword. The event is often accompanied by music and cheering from the crowd. It continues to be a controversial topic.
