Cynoglossidae is a family of flatfish commonly known as tonguefishes. These fish have elongated, slender bodies resembling a tongue. They are bottom-dwellers, typically found in tropical and subtropical waters. Their eyes are both located on the left side of their body. They're masters of camouflage, blending seamlessly with the seabed. Imagine them as the sleek, stealthy ninjas of the ocean floor. They primarily feed on small invertebrates.
