A 'dickey-seat' (also spelled 'dicky-seat') is a fold-down seat at the back of a two-door car, popular in the early to mid-20th century. Think of it as the original rumble seat! 🚗 Unlike regular car seats, it's exposed to the elements. It's similar to a jump seat, but located outside the main cabin. Dickey-seats were often found on roadsters and coupes. They offered a sporty, open-air experience for passengers.
