Definition
An electron is a subatomic particle with a negative electric charge. It's a fundamental constituent of matter and orbits the nucleus of an atom. Electrons are responsible for chemical bonding, electrical conductivity, and many other phenomena. They're like tiny messengers carrying electrical signals. Without electrons, our electronic devices wouldn't work, and life as we know it wouldn't exist! ⚛️ They're part of the lepton family, not made of anything smaller.
