Definition
An extreme point is the highest or lowest value within a given set or function. In mathematics, these points are often called maxima (highest) and minima (lowest). Outside math, it refers to the most intense or furthest reach of something. Think of it as the peak of a mountain β°οΈ or the bottom of a valley. It's where things change direction or hit a limit. The opposite of an extreme point is an average or typical value, representing the center.
