The Lobotidae family consists of fish known as tripletails. These fish are found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. They are called tripletails because their rounded dorsal and anal fins, along with the caudal fin, give the appearance of having three tails. 🐟 They are typically found near floating objects or vegetation, where they ambush prey. As predators, they feed on smaller fish and crustaceans. They are also prized by anglers for their fighting ability and delicious taste.
