A forewoman is a female supervisor or leader of a work crew. They are responsible for overseeing the work of a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Think of them as the coach of a sports team, guiding and coordinating everyone's efforts. Often, they have hands-on experience in the type of work being done. They need strong leadership and communication skills to manage their team effectively. They might assign tasks, provide instructions, and troubleshoot any problems that arise. They are the equivalent of a foreman, but specifically female.
