Definition
Fremontodendron is a genus of shrubs and small trees native to California and Baja California. They are known for their vibrant yellow flowers that bloom profusely in spring and summer. Think of them as the sunshine bursting out of a bush. They are also called "flannel bushes" because of the fuzzy texture of their leaves. These plants are drought-tolerant, making them well-suited to dry climates. Fremontodendron adds a splash of color to landscapes with its cheerful, golden blossoms.
