The genus *Tineola* comprises several species of moths, most notably the webbing clothes moth (*Tineola bisselliella*). These moths are infamous for their larvae's appetite for keratin, a protein found in wool, fur, and other natural fibers. As a result, they are major pests of textiles and stored goods. Think of them as the tiny but terrible invaders of your closet, silently feasting on your favorite clothes. They're more into natural fibers than shiny synthetics.
