Definition
Inflexibility is the state of being rigid and unwilling or unable to change or adapt. Think of a metal bar that won't bend, no matter how much pressure you apply. It goes beyond just physical stiffness; it describes a mind or system resistant to new ideas or approaches. Someone showing inflexibility might cling to old habits or beliefs. It can hinder progress and create conflict because the person is unable to compromise or see other viewpoints. It's the opposite of being open-minded and adaptable.
