Definition
A Kashag (or 'cabinet') is the executive branch of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), which is the Tibetan government-in-exile. It's like the President's Cabinet in the US, but for the Tibetan diaspora. The Sikyong (President) heads the Kashag, and the members are elected by the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile. They oversee various departments, like education, health, and security, for Tibetan communities around the world π. The Kashag aims to preserve Tibetan culture and advocate for greater autonomy in Tibet.
