Kenneth Grahame (1859–1932) was a Scottish author, best known for writing "The Wind in the Willows". His stories often featured anthropomorphic animals in idyllic settings. Grahame worked as a bank secretary while pursuing his writing career. His childhood experiences in the English countryside heavily influenced his work. 'The Wind in the Willows' remains a beloved classic of children's literature. Think of him as the J.R.R. Tolkien of talking animals; he built a whole world.
