Definition
A 'languisher' is someone who suffers or weakens, often due to grief, longing, or some other emotional or physical distress. They might lack energy, appear listless, or seem generally unhappy. Think of a plant that is not getting enough sunlight or water, slowly wilting and losing its vitality. Unlike someone who is actively struggling, a languisher tends to decline gradually, almost passively. They are often in a state of emotional or physical depletion. Languishing can be a sign of underlying issues that need attention.
