Definition
A "mew gull" (Larus canus) is a medium-sized gull known for its slender build and relatively small size compared to other gulls. ποΈ They are often seen near water, both coastal and inland. They have a distinctive, high-pitched "mewing" call, hence the name. Unlike aggressive herring gulls, mew gulls are more gentle and graceful. Think of them as the ballet dancers of the gull world, elegant and precise. These gulls are quite common in Europe and Asia.
