Definition
A nyala is a spiral-horned antelope native to southern Africa, known for its distinct sexual dimorphism (males and females look quite different). Males are dark brown with spiral horns, while females are reddish-brown and hornless. They inhabit dense woodlands and riverine areas. Think of them as the stylish dressers of the antelope world. Their distinct appearances make them easy to identify. Nyalas are an integral part of the African ecosystem. Conservation efforts help to protect them.
