Definition
The term "old man" can refer literally to an elderly male, or informally to a father or husband. It can also be used as a general term of endearment or familiarity among men. The meaning varies greatly depending on context and tone. Sometimes it's a respectful term, other times it's a playful jab ๐. Unlike "grandfather," it doesn't necessarily imply a familial relationship. It can also be used derogatorily to describe someone as outdated or out of touch.
