Robert Owen (1771-1858) was a Welsh social reformer and one of the founders of utopian socialism. He believed in creating cooperative communities based on equality and fairness. Owen established New Lanark, a model industrial community in Scotland, to improve the lives of workers. Think of him as an early advocate for social justice and fair labor practices. He was like a real-life version of someone building a kinder society in *The Sims*.
