Definition
"Rupicapra" is a genus of goat-antelopes, commonly known as chamois. These animals are found in the mountains of Europe, from the Alps to the Carpathians. They are smaller than true goats and have a distinctive black stripe running from their eyes to their muzzle. Chamois are agile climbers, navigating steep and rocky terrain with ease. Think of them as the elegant dancers of the European Alps. They are fast and graceful.
