Definition
Snobbery is the behavior of those who believe they are superior to others because of their social status, wealth, or taste. It's about looking down on people who are perceived as less sophisticated or privileged. Imagine a character who only hangs out with certain people because they deem others 'beneath' them. Itβs like having a VIP pass and thinking youβre better than everyone in general admission. Snobbery creates division and fosters a sense of elitism. This attitude often leads to exclusion and resentment. Itβs not a very attractive quality in a person.
