Definition
Thea, also known as Theia, is a Titaness in Greek mythology, daughter of Uranus (Sky) and Gaia (Earth). She's the Titan goddess of sight and light. Think of her as the goddess who illuminates the world. Unlike other light deities associated with the sun or moon, Thea embodies the shimmering quality of light itself. She's the mother of Helios (the sun), Selene (the moon), and Eos (the dawn).
