The vena cava is the largest vein in the human body. It's like the Mississippi River of your circulatory system, draining blood from all over. There are actually two: the superior vena cava, which brings blood from the upper body, and the inferior vena cava, which brings blood from the lower body. Both dump deoxygenated blood into the right atrium of the heart. Think of them as the ultimate recycling system, bringing used blood back for a refresh.
