Definition
Volcanic describes anything related to volcanoes or processes involving the eruption of molten rock (magma) onto the Earth's surface. This includes volcanic mountains, ash clouds, and lava flows. Think of it as Earth's way of blowing off steam! 🌋 Volcanic activity can be both destructive and constructive, creating new landforms. Unlike plutonic activity which happens deep inside the Earth, volcanic activity is visible on the surface. From Hawaiian islands to Mount Vesuvius, volcanic landscapes are both dramatic and dynamic.
