The wrist joint, also known as the radiocarpal joint, is where your hand connects to your forearm 🤝. It's formed by the radius bone of the forearm and the carpal bones of the wrist. This joint allows for flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction of the hand. Think of it as the hinge that allows your hand to move in almost every direction. Unlike a simple hinge, it allows for circular motion too. Ligaments and tendons stabilize the wrist joint, providing strength and support.
