Yorkshire fog is a common type of grass found in fields and meadows. It's easily recognized by its soft, velvety texture and pinkish-grey color. Unlike other grasses that are bright green, Yorkshire fog has a subtle, almost dreamy appearance. Think of it as the 'soft focus' lens of the grass world. While it adds to the visual appeal of a landscape, it's not always the most nutritious for livestock. Itβs like that pretty but not-so-filling pastry at a bakery. Farmers sometimes see it as a weed because it can take over pastures.
