An antilepton is the antimatter counterpart of a lepton ⚛️. Leptons are fundamental particles like electrons and neutrinos. Antileptons have the same mass as their lepton counterparts but opposite charge and other quantum numbers. For example, the antilepton of the electron is the positron. When a lepton meets an antilepton, they can annihilate each other, releasing energy. It's like the evil twin of a lepton!
