A toucanet is a smaller type of toucan, still possessing a large, colorful bill but on a more manageable scale. These birds are found in Central and South American rainforests, often at higher elevations. They tend to be more green in coloration compared to toucans, providing excellent camouflage in the dense foliage. Think of them as the mini-versions of toucans, equally charming but less showy. They are like the 'compact cars' of the toucan world β efficient and stylish.
